A new year and a new batch of anal or moronic statements uttered by people in the news……remember my readers get to pick the most anal statement….last year my readers pick good old Newt Gingrich as the most anal.  This year we pick our next prez….will it be Obama or his GOP counterpart?

The first anal statement of the year comes from presidential hopeful….Mitt Romney….

Mitt Romney attempted to turn around a common complaint about himself and use it against Barack Obama, accusing the president of being out of touch. Referring to Obama’s statement last year that “things would have been a lot worse” without his stimulus plan, Romney told the Huffington Post, “When the president’s characterization of our economy was, ‘It could be worse,’ it reminded me of Marie Antoinette: ‘Let them eat cake.’ This is not a time to be talking about, ‘It could be worse.’ It’s a time to recognize that things should be better.”

As a political geek, I take exception to politicos that have NO idea what they are talking about…..and Mitt is ignorant!

First, Marie Antoinette never said “Let them eat cake”…..

Second, Marie was oblivious to the suffering and the actual conditions in France at the time of the revolution….kinda like Mitt and his class……..they have NO idea what the real people of this country are going through on a daily basis……and for this reason Mitt is our first anal of the year….thanx Mitt you make my job so much easier…..
