That time again….yet another anal statement…..for years now I have been criticized for my picking on conservs in my anal-ocity posts….well, sorry to say…it is nothing personal, but they seem to make more anal statements than Dems….but I could be mistaken….as a matter of fact…I AM!
This anal-ocity was spoken by the President of the United States, Barack Obama…..during his recent State of the Union speech he made this point…
We cannot win the future with a government of the past….
Applause….applause….Dems liked it…..Repubs liked it…….and the peasants danced…….
But why is this anal? First, good tag line….should get lots of media coverage…..but beyond all that it is lame and therefore ….AN ANAL STATEMENT! I will agree with the statement….but they have NO clue what it means other than a good tag line……
All the solutions to our current economic problems are the same solutions that have been offered for the past 25+ years…….from the government of the past…….because it is so lame……Obama gets his first anal-ocity of 2011……
Yeah, this along with the sputnik moment comment makes wonder what he was thinking.
Terrant, he is being criticized for not being specific by the GOp who still does not have an idea on how to fix the problems…..all a game of moves and counter-moves
Ive said that we vote for slogans, not candidates in the past and i was baffled by this one. Lame yes, but even more “odd” to me.

I quite agree with Obama – and with you come to that…
I can certainly see what I think he means, but where the hell would you find a forward thinking progressive government with the real power necessary to achieve something for the future…
I mean… come on! That would require altruistic, intelligent, well educated, honest, forward thinking, progressive people as politicians with a huge electoral majority both at home and in terms of their administration – where are you going to find THOSE?
Silly me! All it was…a tagline…fodder form the media…..
